Raju Kamble a great follower of Dr Ambedkar and an engineer by profession breathed his last on 17th August, 2018 at 2.10 am in Vancouver, Canada. Raju Kamble believed to be the founder of Ambedkar International Mission (AIM), who has congregated the Ambedkari believers across North America, Europe, Middle East, and South East Asia. In his early days when he was working in New Delhi, he was greatly devoted to the mission of Babasaheb Ambedkar, he worked tirelessly for the incipient BAMCEF and he was known in Delhi circle as "BAMCEF Kamble". He meticulously networked Ambedkari people from different states in India, he also brought many non-Indian sympathizers of Dalit movement together through celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti and arranging international conferences and seminars to build the voice of the Ambedkarites and institute the network. Raju Kamble not only spread the Dr Ambedkar thought across the world but also he arranged a very remarkable Buddhist conference in Nagpur where he gathered Buddhist people from all over the world in Nagpur to propagate the Buddhism. His untimely death is a great loss to all of us and the Ambedkari movement, AIM Oman sincerely pays great tribute to such a visionary personality. His great work and vision will continue as an inspirational tool for the future generation.

The main thrust of the mission’s activities are (1) To bring all the Ambedkarite’s together and create a strong community which believe in equality, fraternity, liberty & justice (2) To create awareness among the socially oppressed people to fight for their rights. (3) To provide direct help to the needy people residing in Oman and India through social welfare programmes in the form of ‘PAY BACK TO SOCIETY’.

Ideal Society

>>> Dr. B. R. Ambedkar from book ‘Annihilation of Caste’

An ideal society should be mobile, should be full of channels for conveying a change taking place in one part to other parts. In an ideal society there should be many interests consciously communicated and shared. There should be varied and free points of contact with other modes of association. In other words there should be social endosmosis(flow of a substance from an area of lesser concentration to one of greater concentration).

This is fraternity, which is only another name for democracy. Democracy is not merely a form of Government. It is primarily a mode of associated living, of conjoint communicated experience. It is essentially an attitude of respect and reverence towards fellowmen.
